Paul Bard

Position: Consultant

Paul founded Paul Bard Lawyers in 2000, after partnerships at small and medium sized practices in the Sydney CBD over the preceding 25 years and continues to consult to the firm after his retirement. During his 35 plus years practicing law in New South Wales, Paul has specialised in commercial litigation, commercial law and corporations law. Paul continues to consult to CBB Law and his principal areas of practice include equity, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, corporations law, building and construction law, and general commercial litigation involving securities enforcement and debt recovery. Paul acts for and advises publicly listed and private companies, small businesses, trustees and all forms of external administrators in these practice areas.

Paul is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia, and is a member of the Law Society of NSW. Paul is a firm believer in client communication and maintaining an excellent standard of service to the firm’s clients.

Outside of the law, Paul has had interests in several hotels and restaurants, including the Four in Hand Hotel in Paddington for nearly 30 years. He is a keen sportsman, swimming and cycling regularly and skiing whenever he can get away. Paul enjoys travel and has made a number of journeys to India and other countries.
